Taipei Xinyi Xindian Town: “Tree of Delivering Happiness” x “Star Wish Express”
Taipei's Xinyi District is once again aglow this Christmas season. At Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Xinyi Xindian Town, the theme "Christmas Express: Delivering Happiness" has created a stunning centerpiece: a 20-meter-high "Tree of Delivering Happiness" located at the A11 North Gate roundabout. It’s quickly become the iconic photo spot for the Xinyi business district.
The Tree of Delivering Hope is primarily adorned in pearl silver-white and features an intricate design with 150,000 warm-gold bulbs and shimmering silver-white ornaments. Adding a unique touch, a matching "Star Wish Express" is incorporated into the tree trunk, making it the only moving Christmas tree display in Taiwan. Throughout the exhibition, a captivating 3-minute "snowfall sound and light show" plays hourly from 4:00 PM to 10:30 PM. With the exhibition running until January 4th, over 1,300 shows are scheduled, promising a magical experience for visitors during Taipei’s festive Christmas and New Year period.

This year, Dior has transformed the first-floor lobby into a breathtaking 5-meter-high "Fantastical Star Wish Christmas Tree," drawing inspiration from artist Pietro Ruffo’s work and incorporating Dior’s signature love of circus carnival aesthetics. The result is a truly fantastical tree with a base of shimmering gold and silver and captivating light effects.
The BELLAVITA “DIOR Fantastical Star Wish Christmas Tree” is a dazzling spectacle, covered in Dior’s classic lucky star charms. Beneath the tree, an arrangement of delicate gift boxes and small gold spheres creates a luxurious and festive atmosphere, deconstructing the traditional Christmas tree silhouette into a dazzling circus-inspired decoration. The exquisite craftsmanship creates a sense of opulent and fashionable beauty. Complementing the tree are limited-time pop-up shops, a fun photo-tag machine, and a whimsical café offering Star Wish tarot card readings and limited-edition desserts created by the late Michelin-starred chef Joël Robuchon.
